Got a quick tutorial by the man himself at NAMM 2k7, on the UW's ability to re-sample patterns, and then play them back while applying cool FX to them, etc.
Since I don't (yet) have the UW model, this was a first for me and was quite an eye-opener. The MD's way of doing UserWaves is quite different from the JoMoX 999's. Both are really cool, and really effective, just different implementations. I'm glad I captured this on video, to remind myself once I finally own one...
